Abdul Haye
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Abdul Haye has been associated with the Insurance Industry for more than 33 years. He is with Alfalah Insurance since its inception & before his existing position, he was working as Executive Director, steering the Company's overall operations. He has diverse and versatile experience in portfolio building and value addition to continuous organizational growth. Before joining Alfalah Insurance, he worked with one of the leading insurance companies in an elevated position. Besides this, he has gained immense recognition on various industry platforms. Mr. Abdul Haye holds a Master's Degree in Business Education from the University of Punjab.
Adnan Waheed
Executive Director Finance & CFO
Mr. Adnan Waheed joined us in December 2007 and is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the Company. He has worked at various levels at Alfalah Insurance Company before being designated as Executive Director of Finance. He has extensive experience of more than 16 years of financial management, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and audit assurance. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has conducted various audit assurance assignments being part of M/s A. F. Ferguson & Co. He brings with him an in-depth knowledge of industry-related financial issues coupled with system analysis and audit skills.
Raza Javaid
General Manager – Commercial
Mr. Raza Javaid has been associated with the insurance industry for the last 17 years. He has versatile experience in sales and operational management. Mr. Javaid joined Alfalah Insurance in 2011 and has been elevated to General Manager's position - Commercial steering the overall operations of the Company.
Faisal Shahzad
General Manager – Internal Audit
Mr. Faisal is a thorough professional with around 21 years of experience in the insurance industry. He holds a Masters's degree in business administration, specialization in banking and finance, and is a fellow member (FCCA) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He has strong management skills with extensive knowledge of finance/accounts, auditing, planning/budgeting, and business processes reengineering. Previously, he worked as Deputy General Manager - Finance and Accounts with a prominent Company in the insurance sector.
Faisal Arshad
General Manager – Underwriting
Mr. Faisal joined AFIC in Sep-2006. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Diploma in Insurance (CII-UK). He brings with him deep insight into different underwriting types of risks. He leads our efforts in Marine and Non-Marine Insurances.
Manzoor Hussain
General Manager – Claims
Mr. Manzoor joined AFIC in 2007 with 32 years of experience. He graduated from the University of Punjab in 1972. He served different insurance companies in the capacity of various positions. He possesses extensive knowledge of Insurance, claims management, and the local market.
Shahzad Aamir Rafique
Deputy General Manager – Reinsurance
Mr. Shahzad Aamir Rafique holds an ACII degree and holds a chartered Insurer title from the Chartered Insurance Institute, U.K. He joined Alfalah Insurance in December 2005 and has 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. He has traveled abroad to visit leading reinsurance markets and attended various courses and seminars relating to reinsurance. Mr. Shahzad Aamir Rafique is responsible for the overall affairs of all Reinsurance matters.
Muhammad Rashid Awan
Deputy General Manager – Risk Management
Muhammad Rashid Awan joined Alfalah Insurance in 2016 with 15 years of experience of working with govt. and private sector insurance companies. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Insurance Institute, London. Before joining Alfalah Insurance he served in Zurich Insurance, regional office, UK.
Naveed Akbar
Deputy General Manager – Compliance
Mr. Naveed Akbar joined AFIC in 2008 with 8 years of experience. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountant of Pakistan. He has more than 21 years of insurance experience related to accounting and finance. He was working as Senior Manager Finance prior to his appointment as Compliance Officer in 2017.
Zia Mohy ud Din
General Manager
Mr. Zia Mohy ud Din joined us in 2009 to handle the affairs of the Multan Region. He has 23 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He also served leading Insurance Companies and one Multinational Insurance Company in Pakistan. He is responsible as General Manager for the Operations and Business Development in Multan and Rahim Yar khan Regions and Interior Sindh.
Fazal ur Rehman Malik
Deputy General Manager
Mr. Fazal has been associated with Alfalah Insurance Company since 2007. He has versatile experience of 35 years in the insurance industry. He is currently serving as Deputy General Manager and leading the overall Operations and Sales of the Islamabad branch.
Engr. Muhammad Tauheed uz Zaman Khan
Assistant General Manager
An Engineer by profession, Mr. Khan joined the Insurance Industry in 1994 in the Risk Management and Engineering Insurance Division. Over the years, he has been exposed to various sorts of assignments in the Insurance and Construction sectors. In addition to Risk Management of various Industrial concerns, he has been responsible for Underwriting, Claims, Business Development, Operations, and General Administration of some of Pakistan's leading Insurance Companies. He joined us as an Area Manager back in 2007 to handle the Gujranwala Region's affairs comprising two offices: Gujranwala and Sialkot. In addition to a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, he also holds the title of Cert. CII form Chartered Insurance Institute, London. He has also attended numerous seminars and workshops in Underwriting (Fire, Marine, Motor), Claims, Reinsurance, and Bancassurance.
